Like many a show before it, this one was also inspired by true events. From the oddities of LA living situations, to the oddities of LA relationships, #Unsupervised blurs the lines between quirky comedy and slice of life scenarios. We originally had a 20 minute short, called “Splat”, planned to showcase our real life roommate drama. As the characters developed on paper, we soon realized there needed to be more exposition to really understand and care about them. The 20 minute short turned into a 5 episode webseries, called The S(eries), which then got a complete makeover, name included, scripts and storylines flushed out. Thus, #Unsupervised was born.
